GEMM is a secure Open Marketplace. We're not associated with the sellers.
If you place an order using our order forms it then sends an order to the
seller. We rate the sellers from one to five stars based on how many of the
orders coming to them from GEMM they're actually responding to and filling.
If they fill less than 20% they get removed from our search engine. If they
fill 100% or close to it they get five stars. If they fill at least 20% or
more they get one star.
We don't actually charge you for the order immediately after you place the
order because we first wait for the Seller to confirm they have it and will
ship to you, and confirm the total amount you're to pay.
Only GEMM waits until the Seller confirms before charging for the order.
GEMM Payment Protection
Payment information for listings that display our GEMM Green Shield (it's a
green shield with a "g" in the middle) is safeguarded by GEMM. That means
the seller doesn't get your payment information. GEMM keeps it safe. After
the seller confirms your order GEMM processes your payment and forwards the
funds to the seller. GEMM unconditionally guarantees all payments processed
by GEMM.
We'll even pay for you to send something back to the seller should
that become necessary.
For items not displaying our GEMM Green Shield the payment information is forwarded securely to the seller for the seller to process on their own credit card terminal. For those items GEMM can not be responsible for the payment information or how it's used once it leaves the GEMM system.
